Dear Republican Voter,

As you may know, I am running for election to become the Republican candidate for the Office of Franklin County Clerk of Courts with a primary election to be held on Tuesday, March 4th.

To learn more about my qualifications for Office, click the link to my resume.

My opponent has been asked to run solely as a "placeholder," meaning she will withdraw as a candidate if she is elected.*

I strongly oppose the practice of any political party using a placeholder rather than fielding a live candidate. That practice denies the voters' right to pick the nominee of their own choosing. Some call it, "hiding the ball," others call it, "bait and switch."  Nobody I've spoken to thinks it's a good idea.

I ask for your vote on March 4th to become the Republican nominee for Franklin County Clerk of Courts. If you want to get involved in the Harmon for Clerk campaign, email me your contact information - I'd be honored to work with you to regain this Office for the Republican Party.

Thank you very much,

Phil Harmon
Republican candidate for Clerk of Court
