Attorney Experience

In high school, Phil held the school record for one-meter diving at Upper Arlington High School for over ten years. He later became co-captain of the Cornell University Swim Team and was named to the All Ivy-League Team in three-meter diving.

Mr. Harmon served as General Counsel to USA Rugby Football Union, Ltd. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. USA Rugby is the national governing body for the sport of rugby in the United States. In his role as General Counsel, Phil assisted in negotiations with the U.S.O.C. and the I.O.C. to readmit the sport of rugby to the Olympics. In addition, Phil assisted in negotiations to secure a $10 Million sponsorship agreement for USA Rugby with B-Sky-B, a British telecommunications company affiliated with News Corp.

Phil successfully negotiated the contract terms and on-air appearance for a client for the position of springboard diving commentator on ABC Sports.

He is a past Member, Sports and Entertainment Section, American Bar Association.
